native gaelic speaker, Born and brought up in the village of North
Tolsta on The Island of Lewis.
I went to Duncraig Castle College in Plockton, Ross-shire for two
years, and worked in the catering trade until I married Donnie in
1966. wE have three children ,and five grandchildren, all living in
oban. I have been running our own Bed & Breakfast business in oban
for over twenty years.
I started presenting my Gaelic programme "CEILIDH AIR ANNA" on Oban
F.M. three years ago. The programme is a mixture of
traditional,modern, and humerous gaelic songs and of course some
ceilidh music, accordian,fiddle, and clarsach. ALL THE INGREDIENTS
FOR A GOOD CEILIDH.
