Campbell has been involved with Oban Fm since its early days
presenting daytime, drivetime, rock and folk shows with a very easy
laid back style.
A Benderloch boy by upbringing, educated at Oban High School and
Lochnell Primary he has been involved in sales, the motor trade and
politics in his career.
As a director and Vice Chairman of the company for many years he has
been involved in the growth of the radio station as well as spinning
the discs. He looks forward the future with a positive view on the
station going from strength to strength in the new digital online
era.
Presently involved with the Wednesday drivetime show with Coll, Skye
and Teresa this provides great opportunities to promote the splendid
range of music on offer as well as entertaining guests from the
music and political and entertainment worlds.
"Come and join us on a Wednesday between 5 and 7pm, Local time –
whether from Soroba or Saudi Arabia, you’ll enjoy the craick on the
drivetime show" says Campbell. "If it has an Oban Connection we will
keep you in touch with all that's going on locally, nationally and
Internationally"
