How to Complain |
1. What is the Public File?
Every local commercial radio station in the UK
has to meet requirements in its music and local
content. These are set out in the station "Format"
which is a document issued by Ofcom, the UK media
regulator.
The Public File contains details of elements Ofcom
review and regulate including music tracks played,
local news and other elements. It will give you a
better understanding of our why we do what we do and
how we serve our local community.
The Public File is available for you to print on
request and any comments on the file can be made to
us or Ofcom.

4. Automation & Local Programming
Some shows on Oban FM are pre-recorded and some
others are networked from other stations and
all contain regular local identification. Shows
are presented and produced from Oban FM studios as
per the times in the schedule listings above.

Oban FM works closely with ObanFM Cash For Kids.
There are regular updates on events and activities
planned.

now cover many events live as they happen in
